About My Small Business
Hey y’all! I’m Sidney, the silversmith behind Feral Floozy. I am a self-taught silversmith with a love for art and nature. I started making jewelry as a way to express my love of art, working with my hands, and making goods that encourage people to smile. After working in veterinary medicine for close to 8 years, I took some time off, moved from New Orleans to Orlando and decided to start on this journey. I have since then moved to a tiny town in beautiful Colorado and have gone back to a vet clinic setting, but still very much enjoy making jewelry in my spare time. These pieces are all hand made in small batches, leaving much more time to focus on each piece. Every piece is 925 sterling silver and all of the turquoise I use is high quality and backed, polished, and stabilized for better protection (some by me, some by Turquoise sellers). As I am self taught and each piece is hand made, there may be small imperfections on each piece, making them each unique and one of a kind.
Feral Floozy is made for anyone who has a little wild spirit in them and loves jewelry that isn’t the same as the pieces you’ll find everyone else wearing around town. Each piece is inspired by the landscapes I love to take my dog hiking on, and the culture and art of New Orleans and the Western Slope of Colorado.
If you are interested in custom pieces please reach out to sidney.bell17@gmail.com with your request. Please accept up to 7 business days for a response. Thank you for supporting my small business. :)
